10 days Zanzibar beach holiday tour package

Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar

This will be your arrival day in Zanzibar whether via the Marine port or the Airport, you will be picked up by the driver and take a drive to your hotel for check-in stay and meals. The hotel will be either Stone Town Hotel or Village Beach Hotel your choice while booking.

Day 2: City Stone Town and Prison Island Tour

The day will begin with the Morning breakfast at your accommodation and then a driver together with your guide will pick you up from the lodging place and head to the Old historical stone town, at around 9:00 Am you will start the walk exploring the old stone town for 3 to 4hrs.

You will be walking around the historical, cultural, and architectural town of Zanzibar with a century of history. The tour will take you to different places like the former slave market, then stand at the Anglican church built in 1871, the town's old market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, the House of Wonder built-in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Center) to Maruhubi Palace Ruins through the Living Stone house.

This will then be the afternoon when you will find a restaurant for your lunch and rest for your next tour.

At around 2:30 pm you will board a boat for a trip to Prison Island home of Aldabra Giant Tortoises. The Island has amazing beaches of reef sanctuary for swimming, snorkeling, and beach relaxation.

After enjoying the clean and water sand beaches it will be evening and will take a boat back to Stone Town because it is evening you might enjoy the sunset. Reaching the stone town you will head back to your lodging place for your dinner and overnight stay.

Depending on your lodging place you might need a drive to the shore or not. For this full-day boating, you will enjoy several activities like sailing, snorkeling, and sunbathing at the Kwale Sandbank on a traditional dhow accompanied by a seafood barbecue for lunch.

You will be setting sail to explore the Menai Bay from Fumba, Menai is where the dolphins are sighted mostly. Up on reaching Kwale Island, you will be served a buffet of grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chickens, and coconut rice, and there will be the end of the Safari blue boat trip.

The tour can either be private or sharing depending on your number or choice. After the tour, you will head back to your accommodation for your evening and overnight stay with dinner.

Day 4: Spice Tour and Jozani Forest tour

The day will start with your morning breakfast at your lodging place and then at around 09:00, you will be picked driven to the spice farm for the fruits and spice tour. Here you will see, and taste the fresh fruits and spices from the farms where you will see the plantations and the spice products.

You will get a deep explanation of several spices with their uses as some are used as spices, cosmetics, medicines, fruits, and ornaments. Having several spices, Zanzibar is also known as the Spice Island.

After the spice farm tour with your lunch, you will then leave the spice farms taking a drive heading to the Jozani Forest this will be at around 2:30 pm. At Jozani forest, you will do a walking tour in the natural forest where you will see the famous red colobus Monkeys and then walk through the mangrove forest. After this walking tour, you will take a drive back to your Lodging place for dinner and overnight stays

Day 5: Full-day beach relaxation

This will be your lazy day and favorable for those who stay at beach hotels, where you will spend your time relaxing and the sand beaches, enjoying the scenery, sun, and sand of the beach and some swimming and staying at the hotel.

However, when you are at the Stone Town Hotel you can enjoy some shopping and walking and then in the evening you can visit the Forozani area and enjoy the sunset and you can even opt for the sunset dhow excursion and enjoy the Forozani night market for seafood and other local foods.

Day 6: Dolphin tour

On this day you will play with your marine friend, the dolphins. The day will start with your breakfast at your accommodation then leaving for the dolphin site tour which is a boat tour. There are several dolphin spotting sites and the sites depend on your accommodation place.

This is an ideal excursion during the low tide. The guide and the driver (If a driver is needed) will meet you at your accommodation and give you the briefing for the tour. This is the tour where toe local Zanzibar women do the planting and trimming, growing, harvesting, and drying of the seaweed before the production of the end products from the seaweeds.
