5-Day Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara Safari Itinerary
The route below follows the sequence already defined for this package. Exact pickup time, road time, park-entry procedures and overnight properties can vary with traffic, road conditions, weather and accommodation location, so we confirm operational details before travel.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the Arusha pickup point confirmed in your booking, we drive to Tarangire National Park for your first game drive. Tarangire is strongly associated with baobab landscapes and elephant viewing, while giraffes, antelopes, predators and many bird species may also be encountered. You have the lunch arrangement confirmed for the day, continue the afternoon game drive, then travel to your overnight accommodation in the Mto wa Mbu area or another property stated in your quotation.
Day 2: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we drive toward Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey itself forms part of the safari as highlands give way to wider plains. After the required entry formalities, you continue with an afternoon game drive toward the Serengeti accommodation confirmed for your trip.
Day 3: Serengeti Game Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro
Start with a morning game drive in Serengeti, where lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, zebra, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards and other species may be encountered depending on wildlife movement. The Great Migration moves seasonally and cannot be guaranteed in a fixed location. Later, after the meal arrangement confirmed for the day, you leave Serengeti and continue toward the Ngorongoro area for dinner and overnight outside the crater or at the property stated in your quotation.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
After breakfast, we enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater floor supports a wide variety of wildlife, including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, lions and other species; black rhino may be seen but no individual sighting is guaranteed. After the crater visit and lunch arrangement, you ascend and continue to the Mto wa Mbu area or your confirmed overnight accommodation.
Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park and Return to Arusha
Your final safari day is in Lake Manyara National Park, below the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park combines woodland, groundwater-fed habitats and lake-edge scenery, with opportunities to look for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, primates and birdlife. Lake Manyara is known for reports of tree-climbing lions, but these lions are not guaranteed on any particular game drive. After your final game drive and meal arrangement, we return to Arusha for the onward arrangement confirmed in your booking.
