This phototography culture experience tour 9 days, from the homeland of Kilimanjaro, traveling to Arusha as getting closer to Hadzabe, Maasai, and Mbulu Communities in Karatu, Safari to Ngorongoro Crater , and Lake Manyara. This cultural photography tour will focus on live living photography in some ethnic tribes like Maasai Tribes, Hadzabe tribes, Datoga, Local Swahili people in the streets, Mbulu tribes, and more.
The Maasai are one of the most famous tribes in Tanzania, and they are known for their distinctive red robes and their warrior culture. A Maasai tour would typically involve visiting a Maasai village, learning about their culture and traditions, and taking photos of them in their traditional setting. You might also have the opportunity to go on a game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, where you can see the Maasai herding their cattle and living their traditional way of life.
The Hadzabe are a hunter-gatherer tribe who have lived in Tanzania for thousands of years. They are one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, and their way of life is very different from the Maasai. Itinerary for 9 Days Cultural Photography Experience
Day 1: Kilimanjaro
You are welcome to the peaceful land of Tanzania, upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro, we will pick you up and transfer you to Moshi town overnight. We will recommend short City tours in Moshi town depending on your arrival time. Possible to go on the building roof to capture the view of Kilimanjaro Mountain
Day 2: West Kilimanjaro
Our cultural and lifestyle photography tour starts from Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, take 3-hour drives to Western Kilimanjaro via Sanya Juu, arriving at the village around noon. Meet Maasai people on the deck of Kilimanjaro. After lunch, Visit the Village with the local market in there. Having a shot of the Maasai Family and warriors.
Day 3: West kilimanjaro-Arusha
Early morning photography on the base of Kilimanjaro Mountain with Maasai, After breakfast, carry up our accessories and trek up on a small hill with our Maasai Crew. In the evening, we take a drive to Moshi for rest, dinner, and overnight.
Day 4: Monduli village
Munduli is the district next to Arusha town, it will take us 1hr drive to reach there. We will make stops along the beautiful landscapes on the way, our main stop at the interior Maasai village right from their Breakfast time, visiting the family in the village, meeting the Maasai Warriors, dancing and their best time when are slaughtering Goat and making Nyama Choma round the Fire.
Day 5: Lake Natron Village
After possible morning photography in the village, depart for Lake Natron with a stop at Engaruka Maasai Village for more portraits, more photography at Shimo La Mungu (small volcanic crater) then heading to the Lake Natron Village.

After possible morning photography in the village, depart for Lake Natron with a stop at Engaruka Maasai Village for more portraits, more photography at Shimo La Mungu (small volcanic crater) then heading to the Lake Natron Village.
Day 7:Karatu Village
Depart from the village after breakfast for a transfer to Karatu small town, you will arrive in Karatu in the afternoon with a chance to take a walk in town for any possible lifestyle and street photography.
Day 8: Visit Hadzabe People, Datoga
Sunrise shoots with Hadza, Shoots in Hadza Village, families, and when hunting. Sunset shoots with Hadza. Early morning drives to Hadzabe Village. Hunting with Hadzabe people, visiting Datoga people, and learning about their lifestyle. Visiting them is like a movie, Hazabe are hunting and gathering, growing their families to be active in the jangle, Datogas are good farmers, they are growing onions, maize, and other crops.
Day 9: Lake Manyara National Park – Transfer To Airport.
Depart after breakfast for the game drives in the Lake Manyara National Park, here you will have another taste of a wildlife safari in Tanzania, and then after lunch you will be driving to the Airport for your outbound flight.
