Arrival day of 7 days Serengeti lodge safari: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide who will accompany you to your lodge in Arusha. Take some time to relax and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead
Day 1: Tarangire national park
After an early breakfast in your accommodations at Arusha we will drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees. Tarangire is also famous for its predators you will spot lions, elusive leopards if lucky, cheetahs, and wild dogs, watch out for the bird life as the park harbors hundreds of bird species, in the late afternoon retreat to your lodge for a delightful dinner and overnight
Day 3: Serengeti national park
Early in the morning we will drive to Serengeti National Park and after arrival and completion of necessary entry procedures, we will explore the central part of Serengeti the Seronera area, is known for its abundance of different animal species the Seronera area is an evergreen area throughout the year due to annual supply of water source so this makes it a perfect place for herbivores to graze and the predator to lurk and hunt. Watch for the Serengeti migration as herbivores usually pass this area to head to the south area called Ndutu for calving
Day 4: Central to North Serengeti
On the fourth day of this Serengeti lodge safari we will head to the northern part of the Serengeti National Park your driver guide will provide insight about the region and all the necessary information if you on the right season you will get a chance to witness the Mara river crossing which is one of the spectacular actions here in Serengeti national park, watch while thousands of wildebeest and other herbivores try to cross the crocodile infested river, we will head back to Seronera for dinner and overnight at your lodge
Day 5: South Serengeti region/Ndutu region
The southern part of Serengeti known as the Ndutu region is a predator paradise known to have the largest concentration of predators compared to other regions of Serengeti National Park, during the calving season you will see these predators lurking around waiting for the chance to snatch these vulnerable young calves from their mothers, there is a perfect area to spot all kinds of predators in Serengeti like Lions , elusive Leopards , cheetahs, hyenas, and wild dogs, we will overnight at your lodge in Serengeti
Day 6: Ngorongoro conservation area
You will check off your lodge early in the morning and leave with a lunch pack heading south to Ngorongoro Conservation area the UNESCO Heritage Site where there is a Ngorongoro crater with a large concentration of predators and Big Five animals we will drive around the crater floor until lunch break, we will have lunch by the hippo-pool and proceed with a post-lunch game drive before ascending the crater for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 7: Departure day
This is the last day of your Tanzania lodge safari at Serengeti where you will wake up in the morning and descend to the crater for a last brief game drive watch a sunrise in the carter and spot how the crater wakes spot different predators as they prepare to hunt their meal of the day and herbivores grazing on crater floor after a 2 hours game drive bid farewell to the crater and ascend the rim and head to Arusha this mark the end of you 7 days adventure
