Where to Stay in Arusha for AFCON 2027
Arusha is a green, cool city at the foot of Mount Meru, and the base for the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire. The new Samia Suluhu Hassan Stadium is being built in Olmoti ward, in Arusha City, and has a capacity of 30,000–32,000.
- City center: hotels within walking distance of restaurants, cafés, shops and the market, and the shortest drive to the stadium. Best for fans who want to be where the atmosphere is.
- Lodges outside the city: on the road towards Kilimanjaro airport, lodges set in gardens and coffee farms, with more space and quiet. Best for families and for combining matches with safaris; the drive to town is longer.
- Budget guesthouses: simple, clean rooms around the city for fans who mostly need a bed between matches.

Where to Stay in Dar es Salaam for AFCON 2027
Dar es Salaam is Tanzania's largest city and its main gateway, with Julius Nyerere International Airport and the ferry to Zanzibar. The Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Tanzania's main national stadium with 60,000 seats, is in Temeke, south of the city center.
- City center: business and mid-range hotels near the harbor, close to the Zanzibar ferry terminal and the closest area to Temeke. Best for a short stay and easy match-day transfers.
- Masaki and Oyster Bay: on the Msasani Peninsula, with sea views, restaurants and many international hotels. Best for longer stays; allow extra time to reach the stadium through the city traffic.
- Northern beaches: beach resorts further north along the coast, for days off; they are the furthest from the stadium.

Where to Stay in Zanzibar for AFCON 2027
Zanzibar has two proposed venues: the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar City, about 15,000 seats and renovated to CAF Elite standards, and the new Fumba Stadium, about 36,500 seats, under construction on the Fumba peninsula south-west of Zanzibar City and a possible venue once completed.
- Stone Town and Zanzibar City: historic hotels and guesthouses in the old town, the closest base for the Amaan Stadium and for the ferry from Dar es Salaam. Best for match days.
- East coast (Paje, Kiwengwa): beach hotels about 1 hour from the airport and Zanzibar City. Best for beach days between matches.
- North (Nungwi, Kendwa): Kendwa for swimming at almost any tide, Nungwi for restaurants and lively evenings, about 1–1.5 hours away. Best before or after the tournament rather than on match days.
