Who Is the 13-Day Climb and Serengeti Safari For?

It is for travelers who want to do both properly. The 8-day Lemosho gives the mountain the most time of the common routes and starts in quiet western forest; park records show summit success rising with every extra day. The safari then covers the three parks most visitors come for, including a night inside the Serengeti, so you see the plains at dawn and dusk rather than on a day trip.

How much does a Kilimanjaro climb with a Serengeti safari cost?

Is one night in the Serengeti enough?

It gives you an evening and a morning game drive in the central Serengeti. For more, we can add nights, or see our Serengeti safaris.

Can we see the Great Migration on this trip?

It depends on the month. The herds are in the central Serengeti in some months, and in the south from about December to March; tell us your dates and we suggest the best version.

Can we fly instead of driving back from the Serengeti?

Yes, we can price a flight from the Serengeti to Arusha or on to Zanzibar instead of the drive.

Book it if you want the best chance of the summit and a safari that includes the Serengeti, from US$4,680 per person for two at mid-range level. For a shorter trip, choose the 11-day climb and safari; for the climb alone, see all our Kilimanjaro climbs.
