What You Need to Know: The 4-day luxury shared safari costs from US$3,100 per person in a group of four and US$2,980 in a group of six, sharing rooms in pairs; a solo traveler with a room of their own pays from US$3,710. There are no fixed departure dates: we match travelers who ask for luxury level for the same dates, four to six per Land Cruiser, each with a window seat. The price includes pickup at your Arusha hotel, three nights at luxury lodges inside the parks and on the crater rim, all meals on safari, park fees and the crater service fee.
Who Is the 4-Day Luxury Shared Safari For?
It suits travelers with only a few days who still want to sleep inside the parks: solo travelers who would rather not pay for a vehicle alone, couples happy to share game drives, and visitors adding a short safari to a Kilimanjaro climb or a Zanzibar holiday. Sharing the Land Cruiser, guide and crater fee with three to five others brings the price below a private luxury trip, while the lodges, rooms and meals stay exactly the same.

How We Match Travelers for a Luxury Shared Safari
Groups are put together on request rather than on a fixed calendar, and only with travelers who have asked for the same lodge level, so everyone stays at the same luxury lodges. The steps:
- Write to us with the dates you'd like to start from Arusha, and say you want the luxury shared trip.
- Our sales team checks which luxury-level requests we already hold for those days.
- Once three or more other travelers fit your dates, we introduce the plan; a day either side is the most we suggest moving.
- Each traveler confirms with a 30% deposit, and we then secure rooms at the lodges.
- No match close to your start date? Go private on the same route, or pick other dates; you hear from us well before you travel.

|---|---|---|
| 1 | Tarangire | Elephant Springs by Karibu Camps, Maramboi Tented Lodge, Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge |

| Group of 5 | US$2,990 |

What to Expect When You Share a Short Luxury Safari
On a four-day trip every game drive counts, so a few simple habits help the group get the most from it:
- Swap seats each day so everyone has time on both sides of the vehicle.
- Agree the next morning's start time at dinner; the first hour of light is the best for cats.
- Keep voices low at sightings and give everyone a turn for photos at the roof.
- Groups usually agree one tip for the guide per vehicle per day, about US$40–60, and split it.

Common Questions About the 4-Day Luxury Shared Safari
Short answers to the questions our guests ask us most often:
Is there a fixed departure date for the 4-day luxury shared safari?
No. We match travelers as requests come in, starting from your preferred dates, and only with others who have asked for luxury lodges.
How much does a solo traveler pay?
From US$3,710 with a room of their own, when joining a group of four; there is no separate single supplement.
Is four days enough for the Serengeti?
For a first look, yes: you get an afternoon and a morning in the central Serengeti. For a full day there, choose the 6-day luxury small-group safari.
What happens if no group forms for my dates?
You can travel privately at the private price or move your dates to join a group; we let you know early so you can plan.
Can we add Zanzibar or a Kilimanjaro climb?
Yes. The safari ends in Arusha, so it fits easily before a climb from Moshi or a flight to Zanzibar.
Should You Book the 4-Day Luxury Shared Safari?
Book it if you have four days, want to sleep inside the parks and on the crater rim, and are happy to share game drives: from US$3,100 per person in a group of four, or US$3,710 traveling solo with your own room. If your dates are fixed or you want to set the pace, the 4-day private luxury safari follows the same route.
